Beautiful Spring Cleaning – Rainbow Style

Here at Fabrix HQ we are gearing up for the new season of gorgeous fabrics. Fabulous new stock is arriving daily and we will be sharing some of this with you shortly. We are also currently running a mega sale to make room on our shelves for new things. So if you haven’t checked that out already then make sure to do so. Bargains galore!

Rainbow Organising

So Spring has nearly sprung (although currently looking out the window it’s hard to believe) and the tidying bug is upon me. I must confess this is encouraged by the fact that I have been binge watching the new season of ‘The Home Edit’ on Netflix. Anyone familiar with this show knows they are obsessed with rainbow organising. Luckily I work in a fabric shop and the opportunities for rainbows are all around me. So this week I have been very busy organising the quilting cottons, ribbons and haberdashery. (See photos!)

Fabric Stash

Whilst busy sorting it occurred to me that whilst being a feast for the eyes, organising your fabric stash by colour is a great way to see what you have. It highlights the colours you are most drawn to and also what you don’t have, an excellent reason to pop down to your local fabric shop and fill some gaps in your rainbow. How do you organise your stash? Do you do it differently?

Anyway, no more time to natter, I’m off now to rearrange the polycottons into proper spectrum order!
