Yes, I know we're still in the middle of Summer, but I've noticed the Christmas word being mentioned quite a few times recently... So, I thought it would be okay for me to jump on the Christmas sledge and write about some of our seasonal printed panels!
Some of you may have seen the Forest Glen Christmas tree panels I made up last month. They can be used as a wall hanging, or hung from a door, and are perfect if you don't want, or have room for, a tree. They also make a really great Christmas gift, either sewn or as a sewing project.
This is a nice, easy project and I've made some into sewing kits. The kits contain the panel, a red backing, plus fabric for the tabs and wadding. There's a small amount of Wonderweb in the kit too and I use it in small pieces to secure the main panel onto the wadding, so it doesn't move too much. You'll need a thread go complete and that's it; Christmas Tree sewing in progress!
I have to mention the great selection of advent calender panels on the website too. The Santa's Express panel is going to be restocked very soon - it sold out so quickly that I had to order more straight away. I will be making a few samples up, as I know it's always good to see how they look as a completed item. I also have some advent pockets waiting on the ironing board as I write this - so I should really get on, shouldn't I!
