It’s holiday time and for many people it’s a great opportunity to get some sewing projects started, or even finished! Here at Fabrix, we get lots of customers over the Summer who are wanting a small sewing project.
Fat Quarters.
These are a perfect size for small projects and measure approximately 50x 55cms. Some of our ideas that they can be made into are: cushions, tote bags, pencil cases, bunting, lavender bags, bottle tops for jams, scrunchies, gift bags, and toys. We get lots of other ideas suggested to us in the shop and I’m sure you’ll have a few ideas of your own too.

Crafting Ideas
We have lots of felt bundles, felt by the roll, embroidery threads, toy stuffing, buttons, ribbons and other crafty bits and pieces that would be great for a crafty session. Felt is great for little softies, badges and appliqué. We have embroidery hoops and threads - find a lovely fat quarter, embellish it, Stitch some of the detail and it can be framed in an embroidery hoop - a lovely decoration or gift.
